Answers to common questions about activation, license scope, transfers, offline use, and refunds.

You can activate your license on up to 2 computers.

The licensing system starts when you register the license.lic file, which comes with your unique Product Key and the email address you used, in the Smart Editor License Manager. The license.lic file is stored locally on your hard drive, and you must keep it safe throughout your subscription period. Your license is then activated on the computer where you will use the product. You can activate the product on up to 2 different computers. If you stop using the product on one of the activated computers, you must deactivate the license on that computer. Activation and deactivation require an internet connection.

The License.lic file is the license file sent to you from support@smart3dpipeline.com when you purchase Smart Model Editor. This file is used to license the product. Along with your Product Key and Email, the License.lic file contains the information that defines your purchase and subscription details..

License activation is the process of linking your license to your computer via the internet, allowing you to use the product on that device. License deactivation, also performed via the internet, removes the link between your license and your computer, making the license available for activation on another device.

The license file is essential and must be kept safe throughout your subscription period. Please send an email to support@smart3dpipeline.com to request a replacement. The necessary files will be provided to you again.

Your Product Key is crucial information that must be stored securely along with your license file. Your email address is the one you used when purchasing the product through Autodesk App Store. This information, along with your Order ID, was sent to you via email from support@smart3dpipeline.com at the time of purchase. If you have forgotten your email address, please update it through Autodesk App Store and then contact support@smart3dpipeline.com.

The license activation process requires an internet connection. If you encounter an error, please take note of the error code and contact support@smart3dpipeline.com for assistance.

An internet connection is required for license operations performed in the Smart Editor License Manager. However, using Smart Model Editor itself does not require an internet connection.
